Raku,...A thought


This lizard pot is one of my favorite examples in working with raku firing. Let me know what you think. Raku firing is one of my favorite firing techniques because you never know for sure what the results will be. It's kind of like Christmas. When you take the piece of pottery out of the reduction container, you just don't know what you will get. I love the iridescence and the changes in coloration that result from this type of firing .
